OK.....MY SATURDAY WAS GOOD.........
I WENT TO THE MOVIES. I SAW CRASH. IT MAKES YOU THINK........... THAT IS THE WORLD WE LIVE IN. BUT THIS WAS GOOD.
AFTERWARDS, I TOOK LITTLE MAN TO THE PARK. I HAD MY CAMERA........... AS YOU CAN TELL, I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME....... SO DID LITTLE MAN.
CHECK OUT MY POINSETTIA'S............ THEY ARE STILL FLOWERING AND LOOK VERY WELL. I THINK THEY LIKE THERE LOCATION.......... ON MY PATIO; IN THE SHADE. BUT WARM. I AM STILL GIVING THEM ICE. SHOULD GIVE THEM FOOD????? IF ANYONE KNOWS, PLEASE COMMENT..............
AND THE CAT..........
OK....... I NEED OPINIONS............
THE CAT'S OWNER IS MY OLDEST DAUGHTER. BUT I HAVE DECIDE THAT IF SHE IS LEAVING. THE CAT GOES WITH HER.
WELL, PROBLEM.........
MY HUSBAND WILL NOT PAY THE PET FEE OR WANTS THE CAT IN THE APT. SO, IT COMES BACK TO ME.........
HERE IT IS............. I HAVE ASKED MY DAUGHTER TO TAKE CARE OF THE CAT. FOOD, LITTER, SHOOTS, CLEANUP, BASICALLY, EVERYTHING. SHE IS WORKING; ABLE TO PAY FOR THIS. AND THIS IS A GOOD RESPONSIBILITY TO LEARN.
WELL...........
SHE HAS DONE NOTHING...... AND NOW SHE IS LEAVING. AND THE CAT???????
SO WHAT SHOULD I DO...........
I DID TELL HER SHE SHOULD FIND A GOOD HOME FOR HIM.......... I HAVE BEEN THE ONE FEEDING IT AND CHANGING THE LITTER.....WELL, THERE WAS A FEW TIME SHE HAS DONE IT. BUT THESE PASS COUPLE OF DAYS. NOTHING, SO I'M FRUSTRATED......... AND MY HOUSE DOES NOT SMELL GOOD, AND I CAN'T STAND THAT.........
SO WHAT SHOULD I DO.............

Great pictures!!!!! As far as the cat goes, I would just keep the cat and say that the cat is yours now. Buy a special collar for him/her and start referring to the cat as yours. Give the kitty lots of attention when your daughter is over, etc. She may just get a bit jealous and then want to take the kitty away with her. I personally love cats, I have 6 of them, so I find it hard when other people don't like them so much. I am sorry if I am not too much help!

I've never had a cat, so, I am not much help. I would give her away if your daughter moves out. Love the pictures, it looks so warm there....today its 57 in New York...not that warm.

Hi Brin. I stumbled onto your journal from a comment you left in someone elses and I so glad I clicked that link! As a recently divorced mom, I can speak from experience when I say FIGHT FOR EVERYTHING! I didn't and I regret it now because my ex will not do 1 thing more that what is absolutely required for "our" children. This is one of the worst things you will ever have to go through and I hope having the journaling community to vent to will make it a little easier for you. On a lighter note, I LOVE your fairies!!

Brin, i dont know what i would do if Meg said she wanted to live with my ex. I dont know how you are dealing with all of this right now. YOU ARE SUCH A STRONG WOMAN!!! And in the end, you will be stronger and life WILL go on. I know. I wish that i could take some of your pain away. Those are absolutely beautiful pics....and little man is so handsome. I hate cats so i am not the one to answer the question..i would say get rid of it.

ReplyDeleteIf you love the kitty, why don't you just keep it? I would hate to know that it went somewhere that it didnt get love or attention that it needs.

ReplyDeleteHere is my thoughts on all of this... Cat goes with daughter, or to good home if you don't like the smell in the house and are not attached. Please try not to take it personally about your daughter! She is a teenager and it is not about rejecting you but more about what she 'believes' she will get over there! [I pulled the same thing growing up and it was way better with Mom but I had to learn the hard way!] [TRY TRY TRY your best not to bad mouth your ex to the kids... the ones who get messed up are the kids when you do that... Try to work stuff out with him or the lawyers will get rich while you fight over everything! If you are divorced by July I will be schocked! Maybe a year from July!
Hang in there... there is a reason for everything!
