I HAVEN'T WRITEN ABOUT WORK.......
YES, TRAINING HAS STARTED......
WE ARE STARTING SLOW. 4 HOURS EACH DAY. BUT TODAY WE WERE ON THE FLOOR. THEY SET US UP TO DOUBLE JACK WITH AN EMPLOYEE. TO GET A FEEL FOR, WHAT TYPE OF CALLS COME THROUGH.
OK, THIS IS AN INTERNET COMPANY. THEY HAVE SET ME UP IN THE TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT, NOT BILLING. SOMEWHAT, SURPRISE....... BOY, I WILL HAVE MY HANDS FULL....... THEY ASSURE THAT I WILL DO FINE. I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT HOW TO "FIX" PROBLEM WITH COMPUTERS. I KNOW ALITTLE BIT. BUT THEY ARE GOING TO DO ALL THE TRAINING.
HE TOLD ME THAT IN NO TIME. I WILL KNOW EVERYTHING.
I AM HAPPY ABOUT THAT......... I MEAN IT'S SOMETHING EXCITING. ME, BEING ABLE TO HELP SOMEONE WITH A COMPUTER PROBLEM. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO BE KNOW AS A COMPUTER SAVVY. OR SOMEWHAT.......
THIS IS WHAT I NEED RIGHT NOW...... LEARN SOMETHING NEW... GETTING MY MIND OFF OF "YOU KNOW WHO"........
BUT......I THINK THIS IS GOING TO WORK OUT. WE ARE STILL AT THE OLD BUILDING. THE NEW LOCATION IS NOT READY. BUT....I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW LOCATION. IT'S UPTOWN, WHERE THEY ARE GOING TO PROVIDE US WITH OUR OWN PARKING IN THE PARKING TOWER. AND OH.... I WILL HAVE TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THE WINDOW SEAT I WILL HAVE........ IT WILL LOOK OUT TO THE GULF. THE WATER, BEAUTIFUL...... I AM SO EXCITED....... AND THE DRESS CODE....... WE COULD WEAR JEAN & T-SHIRT, IF WE LIKE. BUT IT HAS TO LOOK NICE. AND HE SAID THIS, NOT BEACHIE, NO FLIP-FLOPS, LOL.... BUT IT'S A LAY BACK ATMOSPHERE, FRIENDLY ENVIROMENT. WE WILL BE IN THE CALL CENTER. NOT TO BUSINESS-LIKE. AND OH...... THE EATTING PLACE THAT ARE NEAR BY....... VERY COOL...... BUT YOU KNOW, I MIGHT NEED TO DRESS UP SOMEWHAT..... I MEAN, THEY ARE BUSINESS MAN ~ AROUND ~ IN OUR NEW LOCATION. LAWYERS, CPA, AND I'M NOT TO SURE WHAT ELSE...... NO, I AM NOT READY FOR THAT..... MY HEART STILL ACHES FOR "HIM"........ BUT DO YOU THINK HE WOULD GET JEALOUS???? I WONDER.......
BUT THE NEW LOCATION IS SO COOL...... I CAN'T WAIT........
I JUST SAW THE TIME.....ALMOST 12:30 A.M. I NEED TO GET TO SLEEP......

Sounds like a really cool job. But, a scary one if you aren't too familiar with how to fix a computer! YIKES! I guess you will be looking up the fixes in a manual while the person is on hold. LOL! I wouldn't even bother dressing up. If a man is interested in you, he will be if you are wearing jeans and a tee-shirt just as much as if you were wearing khaki's and an oxford shirt.

ReplyDeleteDon't give up on yourself. This is His problem, not yours. You are a good wife and mother. Your new job is a new start for you.
Yes, it is hard losing your lover and best friend....but you can do it.
Concentrate on YOU for awhile....maybe he will return....maybe you won't want him back after you find your true self again.
So many of us lose ourselves in our husbands and families....we are still individuals and we matter.....GO BRIN...It is all about you now.
hey...brin..its the break you need...take up something else in the evening or weekends that you dont have your son. Like a class in cooking or computers..who knows....you future is wide open...Andrew

I just finished 4 weeks training for my new job with an internet company - I'm doing a lot of support type work and I thought I was going to be doing more sales type work. But, they thought I would be better in customer service/support. Mmm, we shall see - I never thought of myself as a problem solver! Wishing both of us the BEST.
